Founded in 1999, Ela Textile is a leading company in denim design, sampling, product development and manufacturing, built on deep textile expertise. In our modern production area in Esenyurt, Istanbul, we carefully run every step — from cutting and sewing to washing, ironing and packing. Our two production plants in Batman, each built on approximately 4,000 m² of land, and our plants in Egypt extend that capability into high-volume capacity.
Guided by the vision of our founder Ali Türkmen, Ela Textile has exported successfully to Spain and Zara for many years and plays an active role in denim production for many well-known brands in the Netherlands, the USA and Italy.
With our customer-focused approach, innovative designs and high quality standards we have earned a solid place in the global market. We continuously develop ourselves to keep pace with the dynamics of fashion and follow the industry’s best practices.
Our journey
1999
Ela Textile is founded in Istanbul by Ali Türkmen, focusing on denim garment production.
2000s
Export partnerships begin with Spanish fashion groups, including Zara; the company specialises in high-volume denim programmes.
2010s
Customer base expands to brands in the Netherlands, the USA and Italy. Headquarters and production are consolidated in Esenyurt, Istanbul.
Batman
Two production plants are established in Batman Organised Industrial Zone, adding capacity and regional employment.
Egypt
Ela Textile Egypt starts production in 10th of Ramadan City with two plants, opening preferential routes to the EU and US markets.
Today
A new investment in the Ismailia / Suez Canal region is under way, alongside regenagri, recycled and organic certifications.
